Purdue so Far

So my first semester of Purdue.. Was a blast!! I have learned that those in the science schools and pretty much not in liberals arts, thinks that liberal arts kids are the dirty hippies of the school. Which i've learned to combat with my love for forensic science, so not only am i a smart "hippie' but i'm also a little weird. I've come up with a theory that all the one way streets were a final exam for the civil engineers, the didn't want to fail so they made one way streets. soo take that engineers!! also, russian is fucking hard!! if russian were a girl it would''ve kicked my ass three ways to sunday. Also, i've made new freinds, they soo get me!! I've learned that not all pan-hells are sorostitutes soo thank you for that. I like the multicultural muejueres!! thier a blast!! I know that i can get drunk on 5 dollars at the Cactus!! and to not eat a damn sandwich that doesn't cut it when out drinking. I also know that i hate all the side walks at purdue when it rains, or snows... can we fix that please!! I also know that some things have funny way of working out for you, and that i really do miss having a dog. But i also know that i picked the right school, i've seen gumby, scooby doo, shaggy and a ghost all in one week!!

soo Sarah and I went into the Restaurant that we had been wondering bout. And yeah it was pretty bad said Restaurant is called MLC. it's wrong let me tell you that, we walk in and all we see are a bunch of old people. You know that voice inside you head that tells you something is off, yeah the voice was there and it was telling me to go. but we were pushing through thinkin that even if there are old people it can't be that bad. Ohhhh it is that bad, soo we get closer to the front and find that there is a buffet.... The voice was there again tellin me to go but did i listen no. soo sarah and i trek through it and find out that it's not really a buffet it's all ala carte, yeah we had to pay for everything seperately. But still we treked forward, so we get to our seats and our "server" is there waiting for us and asks us to remove our trays. Yeah i said it trays, as in i'm still in highschool trays or i'm eating at the hospital food court. Soo we remove our food from the trays and ate our food soo fast it wasn't even funny. there were soo many old people there it felt like a nursing home, Sarah and I were the youngest people there. I told sarah that if we put our ages together we could make up the age of one of thier kids.
Ohhh it was bad, but the sad/funnny thing is we both had the same voice tellin us to go and did we listen no. So our lesson for today was listen to the voices.

So far things have gone really well, I'm thinkin bout joining a sorority. Which is pretty cool, let me say it's not the type of sorority that we all think off where the girls are all air heads and have no mind of their own no this a multicultural sorority which means their awesome!!! So then I get a bill from Comcast and I look at it and yeah... I thought I had to cuss them out, so I call getting mentally prepared to go to battle with Comcast. And yeah no battle it went extremely well, apparently they have notes bout me. so i dunno if that's a good thing or a bad thing but I'll take it if they deal with me in a faster and effective manner. Who knew that once u bitch someone out , from there on they take care of you in the fastest way possible. but other than that school is awesome, and there's this adorable korean guy in my russian class. I just wanna put him in my pocket and slap it!!! But yeah hopefully the good times keep on comin.

I'm thinking bout getting another tattoo, on my other shoulder. I'm thinkin bout gettin a dragon seeing as how in japanese culture the koi transform in to dragons, but in chinese this is my sign. soo I'm thinkinn bout doin it sometime maybe in a couple of months. I was also thinking bout getting a pair of handcuffs on my neck, but i'm thinking that i should get that once i complete gettin my degree or when I become an officer and continue on my goal to become part of the gov't. I dunno, but i do know that i deff want another one.

soo we went to the bars at Purdue and it' was fun!! Mike came with and we had some shots. which was pretty awesome, I like the brothers bar and sarah likes the bar called where else. soo far everything is pretty awesome. sarah's gonna be my wingwoman for this one guy who's in my speech class. he's adorable and like super cute and he know's arabic and is more than wiling to teach sarah. and she will be taught!!! soo yeah my classes are pretty awesome and we're gonna watch the dog soo this should be and interesting experience if anything. Today though we're supposed to be goin to cactus and hopefully the kareoke bar!!! sound like fun!!

Soo I haven't posted in a while, Purdue is awesome!! I love my professors,their pretty much amazing. So what i have first is
Psy 120- Huge class, and when i say huge i mean huge!! If i didn't want/need a minor in psy i would leave it alone. I think it's gonna be an ok class though, it's just really boring. today i almost fell asleep.
Russian- This class is amazing, the proff is really cool!! she's from Russia and is super patient, which is really good. She doesn't really trust me cuase I want to be in the CIA or FBI. she's doesnt trust me.
Speech-it's speech that's all i gotta say...
Social Problems-this class will be awesome , the professor is amazing. He'll tell you like it is and has no problem settin someone straight. I think i'm more excited bout the professor than the class but whateva!!
Forensic Science- Uhmm this class is amazing!! The professors are soo buddy buddy it's soo cute to watch. I can't wait till tomorrow.

So the classes are awesome!! But i haven't found any people that i could really click with, aside from the cute Korean boy. (wanna put him in my pocket!!). I agree with sarah right now it' seems that there are just a bunch of sorority and frat people running around, and tons of freshman. but i'll give it some time cuase I just got here and havent' met a lot of people, but the ones i did meet are ok.

So our townhouse is pretty awesome it looks like a college kid's home, but with some awesome movie taste and excellent musical taste. When you see our rooms you can tell pretty much who's room is who's. Ohhh and if you read Sarah's lj then you know that comcast and i had some words. ohhh i mean words... but it's ok it worked out for the best.
But overall I'm likin Purdue!!

So Sunday I was reading the paper at work, when I came across a blip of an article. It read "Obama is a rascist". So i read it and you know who called him a rascist, yep Glenn Beck. Now I dont' take what "journalists" for Fox News say seriously cuase it's you know Fox News. But I just couldn't believe that Glenn Beck called Obama a rascist agaisnt white people... yeah i said WHITE PEOPLE!! I dont' think Glenn knows this but Obama is HALF-WHITE!! So that would mean he hates who he is. so that's why I had to say really?

these Asian dramas are insane!!! Hana Yori Dango is by far the most crazy show ever, but what I don't get is how the two main characters can ever be together cuase they fight all the time. which is adorable at first but now it's a tad exhuasting to watch, they just don't get along. His mood swings are even giving me whiplash, also he yells at her constantly. I was happy when she finally told him to back the hell off. cuase i would have been like "dude calm down, here's a tissue go in the back and get urself together' he's soo damn sensitive and selfish. But anyway onto the next show.

Soo today Sarah and I met up at Borders and did a run through of what we need for the townhouse, which was pretty cool. Then we came to the best topic of discussion, a pet. Now everyone knows we want a snake for the second semester (we can't wait for Jafar). Soo I was tellin Sarah a mouse wouldn't be the best idea cuase what would happen if it got out then we would have to worry bout pests and what not. Also, we needed a pet that could be "durable" the "Toyota of pets" you know... So we deciced on gettin a ferret!!! And if we can we'll find a white one and name it Draco, the amazing bouncing ferret!! So that was my awesome day!!

So, my brother is home and while i'm happy he's home he's kinda not doin anything. He just takin up space!!! Like he just gets up and that's it, eats and breathes. my mom told him he has to get a job, has he looked for one yet? No!! He better take the lead outta his ass, and he crazy ass ex maybe current girlfriend i dunno is around all the time, her parents apparently can't help her move out. I dunno but it's workin my last nerve, he talks bout her like a dog then he spends all of his time with her? Really? that' makes no sense. But thats a whole other story. So this is what's new in my life, ohhh i told my friend's fiance that i couldn't stand in her wedding that's 5 months away and yeah she hasn't said anything. So that kinda does suck not gonna lie but whatever can't let her bridezillaness get in my way. soo yeah as you know got into Purdue which was a task all within itself with asshole professor, So now it's all bout finding an aparment. I'm really excited bout starting this new chapter in my life, I think it'll be exciting and hopefully not as dramatic as it's currently been this year.

Soo this past weekend has been the weekend from hell so to speak, on Friday. the day I have most favorite class (which is Animal Agriculture, I know where my food comes from damn it!!) Anyway, I went to walgreens and my car dies... Yeah I was livid, soo i try to start it back up again and nothing. So i call my dad and he comes 20minutes later so I'm sitting there for a grand time of being 30 minutes late to class. Thankfully it's a 3 hour class and my professor knows me, but anyway soo it dies but we get it starting again before i go to work. so i was like Yay!!! then on Saturday night, the Chipendales are at the Casino and all these bachorlette parties are goin on.(btw if i ever get soo drunk on my bachorlette party i will be pissed that none of my freinds were like "nia put the shot down"). anyway that's another story for later.
I get to my car try to start it and the fucking thing dies again!! Seroiusly!!! I was soo pissed i was fucking yelling at my car going "Really?! Really?! Now?!" soo I call security and we have it goin for a minute and then it dies again so i call my dad and my family comes and picks me up. so the next day , which is Easter(Happpy Easter to everyone!!!) and we get to my car at the parking lot and it's still not working so we try starting it and then my car decides to start a small fire and almost blow my brother's face off. so yeah my car is dead, i don't have another one and i have to pay to get it towed.. yay!!! I really hate that car

So my friend is gettin married and I'm her bridesmaid... If I ever volunteer to be a bridesmaid will someone please remind me of this time right now. My friend has found a venue and is all excited, soo much so that she even dropped school for the quarter for the wedding. I didn't understand this, but anyway she sees me and gets all excited and is like "OMG the flower girls all have their dresses and all the other bridesmaids have thier dresses.. and soo on." then she looks at me and is like "soo when are u gonna get your dress cuase everyone has their's but you." so I tell her that right now I'm pretty occupied with Purdue and waiting to hear back from them.(thier being assholes btw, i should've known by now but now I have to wait till the end of this semester.) and I have no money right now, it's all tied up into my peice of shit car. then she's like "well you're not gona wait til lthe last minute, cuase I don't want you to get the wrong shade of royal blue" REALLY?! REALLY?! ROYAL FUCKIN BLUE!!! COME ON!! ANYONE THAT KNOWS ME knows that fashion isn't one of my problems. She doesn't understand that HER wedding isn't MY WEDDING!!! she's my freind and I'll be there for her but really this is gettin to be ridiculous. She then got mad cuase I didn't call her, to hear bout her fucking wedding plans. Ohh I almost forgot she then asked my what I'm gonna do with my hair like what color and style, pyscho doesn't seem to realize that her wedding is in September!! I will do what i want with my hair cause its.... MY FUCKING HAIR!!! She's driving my crazy and I've only talked to her like twice.

So I get to class today knowing that my midterm that I took last time was pretty bad, I felt like crap. I was pissed beyond belief when I left, I left early mind you like 30 minutes. But i was there for the majority of the class and left early and you know what that asshole did... He marked me absent, which is fine I really wasn't bothered by that. But then today I get into class,and he gets ready to hand back the exams and says that he didn't understand why half the class failed. That's right I said half the class has failed. So I knew I was gonna get a bad grade and I did. So nothing that I didn't anticipate, but he then says he didn't know why half the class has failed. And that then spurs me to tell him why i didn't do to hot.
I raise my hand and tell him that i personally found his study guide extremely vauge, and it was. the majority of the class found that study guide if you can call it that vauge. I then asked if we could do a review before the exam becuase that's what my other professors do, and it works. ( i left out the last part but it was implied). then he gets all upset and takes what i say personally, he starts saying that he's not like other professors and that we have to work around him. and at that point i was starting to say I understand where he is coming come but then he just get even more upset and says noo let me finish. apparently i made an attack on where he had come from and his teaching style. but if half the class has failed any other professor would know that can't just be the students that has to be him to. he is the most obnoxious, childish, and agurementitave professor i have ever had. in order for me to pass his class i would have to do twice as much work to just pass a 100 level class. it's ridicoulous.

   Ok, so I had to work yesterday and this guest wants a gift certificate. She hands me her credit card. and her two Player cards, she was missing her ID. I didn't see her Seven Star card all i saw was her up to date Diamond Card, and for those who don't know there's a fee involved with having a Diamond Card. It's five dollars, but there's no fee when someone is a Seven Star. They're like the super high rollers. Well this lady had her expired Seven Star Card, it said 3/2009. i assume that by 3/2009 she has another card. And guess what.... She did!!! So you know what I toook the most recent one, I know who'd think that a person would take a card that says 3/2010 instead of 3/2009. I know what the hell was I thinking.
     Well, she throws this big fit. Saying that her card wasn't expired, and that it says 3/20/09. I had to stop and just look at her before i was gonna say somthing really bad. so i told her i just saw her Diamond Card and that I used that one instead of her Seven Star Card becuase that card was expired. She she gets all pissed off and was like if i didn't know there was a fee, then i wouldn't have done it.... There is a sign that says before you decide to buy a gift certificate that there WILL BE A CHARGE. soo she gets all upset and then says that I'm 'hating on a black woman for being a Seven Star".
   This lady has come in before no problems, it could have been becuase when she came in the last time that she had all of her shit together and didn't hand me two cards. But anyway I dont' know if she didn't notice that I dunno I'm part black. soo Yeah, I'm hating on the black lady. I hate half of my culture.
    Then my boss comes around and she handles the whole thing cuase I was cuaght off gaurd by the whole me being rascist comment. And she looks at me and was like "Why didn't u say sorry' and I told her " I tried but she caught me off guard saying i was a rascist, apparently i hate half of my race". Then she procedes to interogate me like it was my fault." why didn' t you tell her that there was a charge" to which i replied" i assumed she could read".
   But yeah the whole thing was just terrrible and kinda messed with the flow of my night.

So I'm taking a European Politics class and at first i was a little apprehensive about taking it cuase i don't know much about European Politcs. And i told my professor that, and she understood. but we were discussing the way western Europe treats Muslims in it's community, and their were these comics. They had pictures of Muhammad which is wrong to begin with cuase thier religion says that pictures of Muhammad is wrong and agaisnt thier religion, but to add salt to the wound they had shown Muhammad with a turban and bomb inside the turban. There were more racist comics cuase that 's what they were and I was the only one who said that the comics were wrong and saw how the Muslim community would protest. Well, everyone else thought i was sympathizing with the "Bad Muslims" becuase i could see why they would protest. Then this guy said that beucase he doesn't follow thier religion he shouldn't have to follow thier rules, which i agree with. But there's a certain way to go about critizing a religion and doing something just to piss someone off and then gettin upset when said group that you were making fun of fights back. i don't think that people know how bad things can and probably will get if these groups don't sit down and talk, and stop antongonizing the other becuase someone will cross the line and then all hell will break loose. I just don't understand why a country would piss on the hand that will feed them cuase that minorty will very soon become majority.

Yah, so i got called from work not to long ago askin me to come in, which isn't a problem. really it isn't.. but what i do have a problem with is the fact my part time coworkers feel the need to complain bout not having enough hours. Really? Cuase if that's the case then why am I the one to get called when no one else "feels like" they don't wanna work. i have two jobs, I'm a full time student and a part time employee at the Casino. My primary job is to be a student, but i needs my money to go out and get gas, I don't understand why these women feel this sense of entightellment. You can't complain bout not having enough hours then when the oppurtunity presents itself you don't wanna come in. that's fucking ridiculous!!! I told my boss striaght up i need more hours, and you know what i'm getting more fucking hours!!! Dont' fucking complain to me bout how u can't believe ur boss pointed you, if you did somethign wrong what the fuck do u think is gonna happen?! NOTHING?! YOU ARE SOO WRONG!!!!! YOU WILL GET POINTED AND THAT WILL GET UR ASS FIRED!!!!! SHE ISN'T UR FRIEND SHE'S UR GODDAMN BOSS!!!! don't sit there in shock saying" i try to build this freindship with her and this is what happens, i can't believe that". I can!! in any other fucking department these girls would be eaten alive, they wouldn't stand a chance. dont get mad at ur boss if all she is doing is her job, your soo lucky i'm not ur boss cuase if i was i wouldn't give ur ass hours. you wanna complain bout not having enough hoursthen dont' come in fine.. i'll take ur fucking hours away. u jackass!!! thier fucking stupid ... can't wait till i graduate. thats all i can say bout that.

soo we just got outta ethics adn it was awesome!! we're all getting ready for the party on friday, it's gonna be cool. and i watched the inaugaration, which by the way was soo cool, it's something that i'll never forget. cuase i really never thought that i would get to see this happen. it was just a great moment in history and time!!!! Yah, so i went to class today and my first class was pretty cool until we got into a group then it turned into a battle royal!!! it was pretty funny until the guy was being a total dick to the other guy for expressing himself and his thoughts bout the US. it was good times!!! then i went to American Government and yeah the most boring class ever it was sad. but then i found out my three hour class i tomorrow yay!!!

so today was a blizzard, not the most fun thing to be in. but really pretty to watch, then to top it off my mom got sick today soo i had to take care of her. it was no fun today. Damn You Blizzard!!!!
